2019 marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of Clara Josephine Wieck, a 19th-century pianist, composer, and piano teacher, who later married composer Robert Schumann and was dear friends with Johannes Brahms. This piece is a tribute to the effect of Clara Schumann’s voice.
